Location : Taylor Texas Small Description: The Network Model Analyst is responsible for processing and maintaining ERCOT Network Operations Model change requests to ensure accurate, up-to-date system models and EMS one-line displays. This role works closely with internal ERCOT teams and external market participants to analyze model data, coordinate change requests, and support system operations through precise modeling and documentation in a hybrid onsite environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process Network Operations Model Change Requests (NOMCR), Collaborative Action Model Requests (CAMR), and Resource Services Change Requests (RSCR)
  • Develop, update, and maintain EMS one-line graphical displays for Production and Future models in accordance with ERCOT protocols
  • Analyze submitted model data and provide timely responses to internal and external customer requests
  • Coordinate end-to-end model and one-line creation schedules across the Network Model Group and other ERCOT departments
  • Facilitate and resolve market participant model data issues
  • Collaborate with System Operations, Market Operating Services, Client Services, Metering, and other internal teams regarding network models and data
  • Work with external generation resources on RSCR submissions, GenMaps, and EPS metering requirements
  • Attend and represent Network Model Coordination at NDSWG meetings and other related meetings
  • Create GenMap packages and coordinate approvals with generation resources
  • Utilize data mining techniques to identify gaps and submit update or improvement requests
  • Follow established procedures while contributing to operational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills:
